After a goalless first half, Joseph Sunny broke the deadlock in the 65th minute, finishing calmly after a precise through ball from Mohammed Aimen. He doubled the lead four minutes later with a composed chip, completing his brace. SC Delhi dominated thereafter, with Aimen sealing the win in the 80th minute following a fluid team move.
The victory marks SC Delhi’s second consecutive win, lifting them to eighth place, while NorthEast United FC slipped further down the standings.
