Riyan Parag fined for vaping during IPL match
Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag praised his team’s clinical display after their six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2026, but admitted they conceded around 20 runs above par. He felt RR could have restricted RCB to 170 despite taking key middle-order wickets.
Parag credited the team’s preparation in Guwahati and Jaipur, highlighting their adaptability across conditions. Teen sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi starred with a blistering 78, laying the foundation for the chase.
Parag also spoke warmly about the youngster, calling him fearless and emphasizing the team’s effort to keep the environment relaxed for him to thrive.
