Sameer Rizvi, Stubbs Power DC to Six-Wicket Win Over LSG

Sameer Rizvi’s unbeaten 70 and a match-winning 119-run stand with Tristan Stubbs guided Delhi Capitals to a six-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026.

Chasing 142, DC were under pressure early as LSG’s pacers struck quick blows. Rizvi steadied the innings after a slow start and accelerated brilliantly, finding gaps and punishing the spinners. Stubbs provided solid support with an unbeaten 39 as the duo sealed the chase comfortably. Earlier, LSG were bowled out for 141, with T Natarajan and Lungi Ngidi picking three wickets each.

Delhi’s clinical bowling and Rizvi’s composed knock ensured a winning start to their campaign.
