Nsungusi Brace Helps Punjab FC Shock Bengaluru FC 2-0

Effiong Nsungusi struck twice as Punjab FC stunned former champions Bengaluru FC 2-0 in the Indian Super League 2025-26 at Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

The forward opened the scoring with a powerful header before adding a second with a low drive past Gurpreet Singh Sandhu. Despite second-half changes, including the introduction of Sunil Chhetri, Bengaluru failed to convert their chances.

Punjab secured their first win of the season, while Bengaluru remained on four points after three matches, suffering a disappointing home defeat.
