Pooran Power Seals MI Cape Town Win over Super Kings

Unseasonal rain set the stage for a thrilling Duckworth-Lewis-Stern finish as MI Cape Town secured a dramatic four-wicket win over Joburg Super Kings at Newlands.

Chasing a revised 128, MI Cape Town got home with four balls remaining to claim their first victory. Nicholas Pooran electrified the faithful with a blistering 33, launching five towering sixes before falling on the boundary. Rassie van der Dussen steadied the chase and Jason Smith’s rapid 22 shifted momentum.

Earlier, Faf du Plessis powered JSK to 123/7, but rain breaks stalled their surge and tilted the contest. Corbin Bosch and Rashid Khan starred bowling.
