Pakistan clinched the three-match ODI series 2-1 with a four-wicket victory over Australia in the decider at Lahore on Thursday.

Fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi led the charge with figures of 3/30 as Australia were bowled out for a modest 157 in 42 overs. Spinners Abrar Ahmed (2/19) and Shadab Khan (2/28) provided strong support, triggering a dramatic collapse as Australia lost their last seven wickets for just 38 runs.

Chasing 158, Pakistan slipped to 112/6 before Shadab Khan’s unbeaten 29 and Abdul Samad’s 18 not out guided the hosts home with 49 runs for the seventh wicket. The win marked Pakistan’s third consecutive ODI series triumph over Australia.
