Sikandar Raza Seals Record Chase as Paarl Royals Beat DSG in SA20
Sikandar Raza etched his name into Paarl Royals folklore by smashing a last-ball six to seal a dramatic six-wicket win over Durban Super Giants at Boland Park in SA20.
Chasing a record 187, the Royals were powered by vital half-centuries from Rubin Hermann (65*) and Dan Lawrence (63), who added 106 for the third wicket.
Raza finished unbeaten on 27 off 13 balls to complete the highest successful chase at the venue. Earlier, Aiden Markram’s 66 and late fireworks from Liam Livingstone lifted DSG to 186/5, but it proved insufficient.
