Phillips, Ravindra Power New Zealand into Super Eights
New Zealand national cricket team stormed into the Super Eights of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 with a commanding eight-wicket win over Canada national cricket team at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Chasing 174, New Zealand recovered from 30/2 as Glenn Phillips smashed an unbeaten 76 off 36 balls and Rachin Ravindra added 59* in a match-winning stand. Earlier, 19-year-old Yuvraj Samra dazzled with a historic 110, lifting Canada to 173/4.
