Led by a spectacular 45-point performance from Jalen Brunson, the Knicks completed a 4-1 series triumph and secured their first title since 1973. Brunson, who was named NBA Finals MVP, delivered another clutch display as New York rallied from a double-digit deficit for the fourth time in the series. Mikal Bridges contributed 14 points, while Josh Hart added a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Victor Wembanyama recorded 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Spurs, but San Antonio fell short as the Knicks completed a historic championship run.
