Nepal national cricket team scripted history with a seven-wicket win over Scotland national cricket team in Match 33 of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at the Wankhede Stadium.
Dipendra Singh Airee smashed an unbeaten 50 off 23 balls as Nepal chased 171 in 19.2 overs for their first T20 World Cup win. Earlier, Sompal Kami’s 3-25 restricted Scotland to 170/7 despite Michael Jones’ 71.
Nepal recovered from 98/3 before Airee and Kushal Jha sealed a memorable victory in the final over.
