Australia Beat Bangladesh
Mitchell Starc produced a sensational 10-wicket match haul as Australia defeated Bangladesh by an innings and 51 runs in the second Test at Mackay on Sunday, levelling the two-match series 1-1.
Starc followed his first-innings 6-12 with 4-39 in the second innings as Bangladesh were bowled out for 115. The visitors had earlier been dismissed for just 64, while Australia posted 210 to take a commanding 146-run lead. Cameron Green top-scored with 67, while Nathan Lyon remained unbeaten on 32 as Australia secured a decisive advantage.
Bangladesh pacer Shoriful Islam impressed with 7-48, the best figures by a Bangladeshi bowler in an away Test. Pat Cummins and Lyon also contributed with three wickets each as Australia completed victory inside two days.
