Pakistan tour of bangladesh 2026 first test day 3 report
Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed a superb five-wicket haul to hand Bangladesh a narrow lead after Azan Awais struck a brilliant 103 on debut for Pakistan on day three of the first Test in Dhaka on Sunday.
Pakistan were bowled out for 386 in reply to Bangladesh’s 413, trailing by 27 runs.
Debutant Abdullah Fazal scored 60, while Salman Agha (58) and Mohammad Rizwan (59) also contributed. Bangladesh ended the rain-affected day at 7/0, extending their lead to 34 runs.
Mehidy, who bowled 38 overs of his off-spin, was rewarded for his patience. “On a true wicket like this, as a spinner my mindset is that I will not get help from the pitch in the first three days,” Miraz said.
