Matt Renshaw Stars As Australia Beat Bangladesh By 7 Runs To Seal T20I Series

Matt Renshaw starred with an unbeaten 89 and a wicket as Australia defeated Bangladesh by seven runs in the second T20I in Chattogram on Friday, clinching the three-match series 2-0.

After electing to bat, Australia recovered from an early collapse to post 196/5, thanks to Renshaw’s career-best knock and a crucial 97-run partnership with Tim David, who scored 45.

In reply, Bangladesh reached 189/6 despite strong contributions from Tanzid Hasan (30), Saif Hassan (42), and Parvez Hossain Emon (36). Aaron Hardie claimed two wickets, while Renshaw and others chipped in as Australia successfully defended the total.
