Manchester United Edge Newcastle as Patrick Dorgu’s Stunning Volley Seals 1-0 Win

A severely depleted Manchester United climbed back into the Premier League’s top five with a gritty 1-0 win over Newcastle at Old Trafford, thanks to a stunning first-half volley from Patrick Dorgu.

The youngster smashed home his first goal for the club in the 24th minute, beating Aaron Ramsdale with precision. Despite missing seven key players, including captain Bruno Fernandes, and losing Mason Mount at halftime, United defended resolutely as Newcastle dominated possession. Lewis Hall hit the underside of the crossbar for the visitors, while United went close through Benjamin Sesko and Diogo Dalot. Newcastle remain 11th with 23 points.
