Lionel Messi Meets Sachin Tendulkar During Smooth Mumbai Leg of India Tour
Lionel Messi’s second day in India passed smoothly on Sunday as the football icon met cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar at a packed Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The 38-year-old World Cup winner delighted fans by kicking balls into the crowd as supporters in Argentina jerseys chanted his name. Messi shared the stage with Indian sporting greats including Tendulkar and Sunil Chhetri during his three-day GOAT Tour with Inter Miami teammates Luis Suarez and Rodrigo de Paul. The Mumbai event contrasted sharply with chaotic scenes in Kolkata a day earlier.
Messi will conclude his India visit on Monday.
