Hardik Pandya Becomes Third Indian to Take 100 T20I Wickets
Seam-bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya became the third Indian to claim 100 wickets in men’s T20 internationals during the ongoing match against South Africa at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Sunday.
Pandya reached the landmark by dismissing Tristan Stubbs in the seventh over, with the South African batter edging behind to wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma. Before the game, Pandya had 99 wickets from 122 T20Is. He now joins Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh in the elite Indian 100-wicket club.
Pandya is also among the rare players to achieve the double of 100 sixes and 100 T20I wickets.
