Lakshya Sen Beats Li Shi Feng To Reach All England 2026 Semi-Finals
India’s top-ranked men’s singles shuttler Lakshya Sen continued his impressive run at the All England Open 2026 by defeating sixth seed and former champion Li Shi Feng in straight games to reach the semi-finals.
The 24-year-old Indian, runner-up in 2022, secured a commanding 21-13, 21-16 victory in exactly one hour. Sen will now face Canada’s Victor Lai, who defeated Japan’s Koki Watanabe in the quarterfinals. Ranked world No.12, Sen had earlier stunned defending champion Shi Yu Qi and Hong Kong’s NG Ka Long Angus. Against Li, he started aggressively to dominate the opening game before holding his nerve in a tighter second game.
Sen said he will focus on recovery and approach the semifinal “one match at a time.”
