Kaia, Nyamhuri Put Zimbabwe On Top After Dominant Opening Day Against Bangladesh

Zimbabwe dominated the opening day of the one-off Test against Bangladesh at the Harare Sports Club on Sunday. Left-arm pacer Newman Nyamhuri starred with figures of 4-61 as Bangladesh were bowled out for just 140 after electing to bat. Mominul Haque top-scored with 60, while the visitors lost their last seven wickets for only 27 runs.

In reply, opener Innocent Kaia remained unbeaten on 76, sharing key partnerships with Ben Curran (42) and Brendan Taylor (17 not out), guiding Zimbabwe to 136/1 at stumps. The hosts trail by only four runs with nine wickets still in hand.
