Australia Knock India Out Of Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 With Record Chase At Lord’s

India crashed out of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 after suffering a six-wicket defeat to Australia at Lord’s on Sunday. Chasing 171, Australia completed the highest successful run chase in Women’s T20 World Cup history, reaching the target with an over to spare.

Ellyse Perry starred with 56, while Ashleigh Gardner remained unbeaten on 53 to guide Australia into the semifinals.

Earlier, Harmanpreet Kaur’s unbeaten 56 powered India to 170/4, with Smriti Mandhana scoring 38 and Shafali Verma adding 34. The loss left India third in Group 1 with six points, ending their semifinal hopes.
