Jamshedpur FC go top with clinical win over FC Goa

Jamshedpur FC climbed to the top of the Indian Super League table with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over FC Goa at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

After dominating large spells but failing to break through in the first half, the hosts finally found the breakthrough late in the game.

Mohammed Sanan opened the scoring in the 83rd minute with a clever finish from close range after sustained pressure, before Madih Talal sealed the win deep into stoppage time with a clinical strike.

The victory takes Jamshedpur to 21 points from 11 matches, strengthening their title challenge, while Goa dropped to third after suffering a setback in the race for the top spot.
