Lakshya Sen gave India the perfect start with a hard-fought comeback win over Chou Tien Chen, saving three match points before clinching the decider. The men’s doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty then extended the lead with a gritty three-game victory.

Ayush Shetty sealed the tie with a straight-games win over Lin Chun-Yi, sending India into the last four where they will face either France or Japan.
