Prachi produced the standout result by defeating Paris Olympic bronze medallist Shih Yi Wu 4-1 in the women’s 57kg category to reach the semifinals. World No. 1 Minakshi, competing in 51kg, registered a dominant 5-0 victory over reigning world champion Alua Balkibekova.
In the men’s draw, Deepak (70kg) and Nikhil (55kg) also advanced with convincing wins. India now eyes multiple finals and potential gold medals at the prestigious tournament.
