India Women's Squad for 2026 Asian Games Announced, Harmanpreet to Lead
The BCCI has announced a 15-member Indian women’s cricket squad for the 2026 Asian Games, with Harmanpreet Kaur continuing as captain and Smriti Mandhana serving as vice-captain.
India, the defending champions, have largely retained the squad that featured in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, with wicketkeeper-batter G Kamalini replacing Yastika Bhatia as the only change. Radha Yadav and Shreyanka Patil strengthen the spin department, though Shreyanka’s inclusion remains subject to fitness clearance.
The Asian Games will be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4.
