India women’s team finished runners-up in the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifiers after losing 0-2 to England in the final in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Grace Balsdon opened the scoring with a penalty corner in the 13th minute, while Elizabeth Neal doubled the lead in the 43rd minute. India created several circle penetrations and earned early penalty corners through Navneet Kaur but failed to convert their chances.
