India to Host Sri Lanka for 5-Match Women’s T20I Series in December 2025

India will host Sri Lanka for a five-match women’s T20I series from December 21–30, 2025.

The first two matches will be held on December 21 and 23 in Visakhapatnam, followed by games on December 26, 28, and 30 in Thiruvananthapuram. The series was announced by BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia on Friday. Bangladesh’s December tour of India was postponed earlier this month due to political tensions, previously affecting India men’s Bangladesh tour, now rescheduled for September 2026. Visakhapatnam recently hosted India’s 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup league games and pre-tournament camp. Thiruvananthapuram will stage women’s internationals for the first time.

The series precedes WPL 2026, followed by India’s multi-format Australia tour.
