Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan smashed brilliant centuries as India defeated Afghanistan by 170 runs in the second ODI at Lucknow to clinch the three-match series 2-0.
Captain Gill led from the front with a magnificent 154 off 110 balls, while Kishan blasted 125 from just 79 deliveries in a match-defining 224-run partnership. India posted a massive 402 before being bowled out.
In reply, Afghanistan never seriously challenged the target despite a fighting 79 from Rahmat Shah. India’s bowlers shared the wickets, with Arshdeep Singh and Gurnoor Brar claiming three wickets each to complete a dominant victory.
