India edged past England by seven runs in a thrilling second semifinal of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium to reach their second successive final. Batting first, India posted a massive 253/7, powered by Sanju Samson’s brilliant 89.
England fought hard in the chase, led by Jacob Bethell’s stunning 100 off 45 balls, which kept them in contention until the final overs. However, superb death bowling by Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya turned the game in India’s favour as England fell short.
