Defending champion An Se Young delivered another dominant performance to defeat China’s Wang Zhi Yi 21-13, 21-11 and retain the women’s singles crown at the India Open 2026 in New Delhi.
In the men’s singles final, Chinese Taipei’s Lin Chun-Yi outplayed third seed Jonatan Christie 21-10, 21-18 to claim his maiden BWF World Tour Super 750 title. Thailand’s Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Supissara Paewsampran won the mixed doubles, while China swept both doubles titles.
The tournament concluded with An Se Young reaffirming her status as the world’s leading women’s shuttler.
