Washington Sundar’s brilliant show with the bat guided India to a five-wicket win over Australia in the third T20I at Hobart, leveling the series 1-1.
Chasing 186, Sundar scored a match-winning 49 off 28 balls, smashing four sixes and three fours.
Earlier, Arshdeep Singh set the tone with two early wickets, dismissing Travis Head and Josh Inglis to reduce Australia to 14/2. However, Tim David (74 off 38) and Marcus Stoinis (64 off 39) powered Australia to 186/6. Despite early hiccups in the chase, India’s middle order held firm, with Sundar finishing things off in style to seal victory.
