Dubai Capitals registered their first-ever win over Sharjah Warriorz in DP World ILT20 history with a dominant 63-run victory in Dubai.
Sediqullah Atal anchored the innings with a composed 66 off 44, while Mohammad Nabi’s explosive unbeaten 38 off 19 powered Capitals to 181. In reply, Warriorz crumbled to 117 in 17 overs despite James Rew’s fighting 47, as Nabi and Waqar Salamkheil bagged three wickets each, alongside early strikes from Mustafizur Rahman and Haider Ali.
The win lifts Capitals to second in a tightly contested points table, with four teams tied on six points as the playoff race intensifies.
