Hemang Badani Named Southern Brave Men's Head Coach for The Hundred 2026
Southern Brave have appointed former India cricketer Hemang Badani as head coach of their men’s team for the 2026 season of The Hundred.
Badani, who recently coached Delhi Capitals in IPL 2026, will be assisted by former England batter Ian Bell. Former Scotland coach Shane Burger joins as bowling coach alongside ex-India pacer Mohit Sharma, while former Ireland all-rounder John Mooney takes charge of fielding. On the women’s side, Jonathan Batty has been named head coach, supported by former England seamer Anya Shrubsole as assistant coach. Tharindu Perera will oversee batting, with former England international Jenny Gunn appointed fielding coach.
The appointments strengthen Southern Brave’s coaching setup ahead of the upcoming Hundred campaign.
