Ben Curran's Unbeaten Century Helps Zimbabwe Clinch ODI Series Against Bangladesh
Ben Curran scored a superb unbeaten 111 as Zimbabwe defeated Bangladesh by 13 runs in the second ODI in Harare to clinch the three-match series 2-0.
After slipping to 66/4, Curran anchored the innings and shared a crucial 99-run seventh-wicket partnership with Brad Evans, who blasted an unbeaten 58, guiding Zimbabwe to 247/6.
In reply, Bangladesh fought hard through half-centuries from Tanzid Hasan (57) and Towhid Hridoy (60), but were bowled out for 234 with one over remaining. Chasing 14 runs in the final two overs, Bangladesh’s hopes ended when captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz was dismissed for 27.
The final ODI will be played on Saturday before the teams shift to Bulawayo for a three-match T20I series.
