Harshit Rana has been added to India’s squad for the third ODI against Afghanistan in Chennai, the BCCI announced on June 19. The pace-bowling allrounder has recovered from a knee injury that ruled him out of the T20 World Cup and IPL 2026 and has now joined the ODI squad.
Rana was undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI Centre of Excellence before being declared fit for selection. The 24-year-old last played for India before the T20 World Cup and has taken 26 wickets in 14 ODIs. India lead the three-match series 2-0 ahead of Saturday’s final ODI in Chennai.
