Glasgow Cosmic Storm to First ETPL Win, Beat Dublin Guardians by 33 Runs

Glasgow Cosmic bounced back from their opening-match defeat to secure their first European T20 Premier League (ETPL) victory, beating Dublin Guardians by 33 runs at Sportpark Westvliet.

Batting first after Dublin opted to field, Glasgow posted 183/5 in 20 overs, with Jason Roy smashing 60 off 37 balls before Richie Berrington provided the decisive acceleration with a stunning 51 off 27 deliveries. Matthew Cross added an unbeaten 25 to strengthen the total. Dublin’s chase was anchored by Harry Tector, who struck a brilliant 75 off 45 balls, but the Guardians lost wickets at regular intervals and were eventually bowled out for 150 in 19.3 overs.

Lungi Ngidi was the star with a superb 4/21, including a wicket maiden, while Berrington was named Player of the Match.
