Germany vs Spain in Junior World Cup Title
Germany clinched their eighth FIH Men’s Junior World Cup title, edging Spain 3-2 in a tense shootout after a 1-1 draw in the final at Chennai’s Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium.
Justus Warweg gave Germany the lead in the 26th minute before Spain’s Nicolas Mustaros equalised soon after halftime. The match saw both teams miss several penalty-corner chances. In the shootout, Germany recovered from two early misses to convert their final three attempts, while goalkeeper Jasper Ditzer denied Spain at crucial moments. Spain, playing their first final, fell short as Germany defended their crown with composure.
