England Beat India by 27 Runs to Clinch ODI Series Despite Rohit Sharma’s Heroic 138

England defeated India by 27 runs in a thrilling third ODI at Lord’s to seal the three-match series 2-1.

Chasing a daunting 388, India fought bravely but finished on 360/7 despite Rohit Sharma’s sensational 138, the first ODI century by an Indian batter at Lord’s. Shubman Gill (77) and Virat Kohli (74) also made valuable contributions in a 147-run opening stand and a strong middle-order effort. However, Jacob Bethell’s economical spell and Sam Curran’s four-wicket haul triggered India’s collapse from 260/1 to 329/7.

Earlier, Ben Duckett’s superb 141 and Jacob Bethell’s 91 powered England to 387/3, with Jos Buttler’s late blitz proving decisive in the series-clinching victory.
