Desert Vipers Win Final-Ball Thriller Against MI Emirates

Desert Vipers clinched a thrilling one-run win over MI Emirates in a last-ball finish at the Zayed Cricket Stadium, securing their fourth straight victory of ILT20 Season 4.

Defending 159, the Vipers struggled early but David Payne’s game-changing 19th over — part of his brilliant 4 for 29 — turned the match around. Khuzaima Tanveer also impressed with 2 for 34. MI Emirates stayed in the hunt through Tom Banton and Nicholas Pooran, before late strikes derailed their chase.

Despite Rashid Khan’s late surge, MI Emirates fell short by two runs off the final ball as Vipers stayed atop the table.
