South Africa thrash India by 51 runs to level T20I series

Quinton de Kock’s explosive 46-ball 90 and Ottniel Baartman’s superb 4-24 powered South Africa to a 51-run win over India in the second T20I at New Chandigarh.

De Kock’s clean hitting set up a formidable 213/4, aided by late striking from David Miller and Donovan Ferreira. India’s chase fell apart early, with Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, and Suryakumar Yadav dismissed cheaply. Tilak Varma fought back with a brisk 62, but lacked support as wickets tumbled regularly. South Africa’s disciplined bowlers maintained pressure throughout, restricting India to 162 and levelling the five-match series 1-1.
