Brett Lee Inducted into Australian Cricket Hall of Fame
Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has been inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame, with the announcement made on Sunday.
The honour recognises Lee’s outstanding international career, defined by extreme pace, durability, and exemplary sportsmanship. Now 49, Lee is widely regarded as one of the fastest bowlers in cricket history, alongside Shoaib Akhtar. Representing Australia from 1999 to 2012, he played 76 Tests, 221 ODIs, and 25 T20Is, claiming 718 international wickets across formats. A three-time World Cup winner and pioneer of early T20 cricket, Lee also won the inaugural Big Bash League with Sydney Sixers.
