Both sides created chances in the second half, with Bounou making crucial saves to deny Lucas Paqueta and Raphinha.

The draw marked the first time a Brazil match featuring a Vinicius Jr goal did not end in victory, while Morocco earned a valuable point against one of the tournament favourites.
