Australia stormed into the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 final with a commanding eight-wicket victory over West Indies in the first semifinal at The Oval.

Beth Mooney starred with an unbeaten 61 off 36 balls, while Ashleigh Gardner delivered an outstanding all-round performance, claiming 2-13 before scoring an unbeaten 35. Chasing 126, Australia reached the target with 42 balls to spare, recording the biggest knockout win by balls remaining in Women’s T20 World Cup history for targets above 100. Earlier, Hayley Matthews scored 30 and Deandra Dottin remained unbeaten on 26 as West Indies posted 125/7.

Australia will now play their eighth Women’s T20 World Cup final.
