India’s top seed Anahat Singh stormed into the semi-finals of the 2026 World Squash Junior Individual Championships after defeating Egypt’s Habiba Rizk 11-7, 11-5, 6-11, 11-9 in the women’s quarter-finals.
With the victory, world No. 20 Anahat became the first Indian to reach back-to-back semi-finals at the World Junior Championships and strengthened her bid for a historic title.
She will now face Egypt’s Barb Sameh for a place in the final. In the men’s event, Egyptian stars Mohamad Zakaria, Seifeldin Refaay and Marwan Assal advanced to the semi-finals with impressive victories.
