Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar equaled the world record and clinched silver in the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions final at the ISSF World Championships 2025 in Cairo.
The Olympian scored 466.9, narrowly losing to China’s Liu Yukun, who shot 467.1. Tomar’s qualification score of 597 matched the existing world record. In the 10m air pistol mixed team event, Esha Singh and Samrat Rana secured silver after falling 10-16 to China’s Kai Hu and Qianxun Yao. India remains second in the medal tally with three golds, five silvers, and three bronzes, behind China’s eight golds and 14 total medals.
