India’s national 200m record holder Animesh Kujur produced another outstanding performance by finishing second in the men’s 100m final at the PUMA Fast Arms Fast Legs 2026 meet with a personal best of 10.14 seconds.
The Odisha sprinter recorded the fastest 100m by an Indian on foreign soil and the second-fastest overall by an Indian, behind Gurindervir Singh’s national record of 10.09 seconds.
Animesh improved on his previous best of 10.15 seconds after winning his heat in 10.19 seconds, further cementing his status as one of India’s leading sprint stars ahead of the Asian Games.
