Captain Harry Brook smashed an unbeaten 79 off 35 balls as England crushed India by nine wickets in the fourth T20I at Bristol to seal the five-match series 3-0 with one match remaining.
Chasing 159, England recovered from the early loss of Jos Buttler as Brook and Phil Salt (59*) stitched an unbeaten 151-run partnership to complete the chase in just 13.5 overs. Earlier, India posted 158/7, thanks largely to skipper Shreyas Iyer’s fighting unbeaten 80 off 49 balls after another top-order collapse. Jofra Archer (2/20) and Josh Tongue (2/36) starred with the ball for England.
The hosts have now won the last three completed matches after the series opener was washed out.
