Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar will miss at least two weeks of WPL 2026 due to a hamstring injury, confirmed head coach Malolan Rangarajan. Vastrakar, who was undergoing rehab for a shoulder injury at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence, tweaked her hamstring just before being released.
She was unavailable for RCB’s opening match, in which the team defeated defending champions Mumbai Indians in a thrilling finish, with Nadine de Klerk scoring an unbeaten half-century. Vastrakar, acquired by RCB for INR 85 lakh at the mega-auction, was expected to play a key role in the squad.
