Sri Lanka to Tour Pakistan for T20Is, Tri-Nation ODI Series and Two-Test Series

Sri Lanka will tour Pakistan next month for a packed international schedule featuring a three-match T20I series, a tri-nation ODI tournament involving England and Pakistan, and a two-Test series against the hosts, Sri Lanka Cricket announced on Thursday.

The T20I series will be played entirely in Rawalpindi, with matches scheduled for October 9, 11 and 13. The tri-nation ODI tournament will also begin in Rawalpindi, where Pakistan will face Sri Lanka on October 18, followed by Sri Lanka’s clash against England on October 22.

The tournament will then move to Lahore, with the final scheduled for October 31. Sri Lanka’s Test tour will begin in Rawalpindi on November 9, followed by the second Test in Lahore from November 17.

Sri Lanka last toured Pakistan for Tests in 2019, losing the two-match series 1-0. However, the visitors enjoyed greater success in the T20Is, completing a 3-0 series sweep.
