South Africa Dominate in Guwahati, Hammer India by 408 Runs for 2-0 Sweep

South Africa delivered a devastating performance in Guwahati, crushing India by 408 runs to clinch the second Test of the series.

The Proteas posted a commanding 489 in their first innings, built on solid partnerships and attacking intent. India faltered badly in response, managing just 201. South Africa then declared their second innings at 260/5, setting a target of 549.

In the chase, India were bowled out for 140 in their second innings. Powered by spin-wizardry, with Simon Harmer leading the charge through a six-wicket haul, South Africa’s bowling unit overwhelmed the hosts to seal their first Test series win in India in 25 years.
