Sri Lanka Cricket has granted clearance to Eshan Malinga for IPL 2026, while Nuwan Thushara, Wanindu Hasaranga and Matheesha Pathirana are still awaiting approval ahead of the March 28 start.
Malinga will join Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 24 along with Kamindu Mendis, who already has an NOC. Hasaranga and Pathirana missed fitness tests, delaying their arrival in India, with KKR likely to wait for Pathirana’s recovery.
Nuwan Thushara’s status remains uncertain pending fitness results. Meanwhile, Pat Cummins will join SRH in Bengaluru, and Ishan Kishan will attend the captains’ meeting in Mumbai with BCCI officials.
