Sri Lanka kept their T20I Tri-series final hopes alive with a commanding nine-wicket win over Zimbabwe in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, snapping a five-match losing streak.

Pathum Nissanka rediscovered his touch with a fiery 98* off 58, sealing the 147-run chase in 16.2 overs. Early bowling control from Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga (2/23 each) restricted Zimbabwe to 146/5 despite 37* from Ryan Burl and 37 from Sikandar Raza. Zimbabwe’s late risks briefly hinted at 160, but Sri Lanka raced to 64/1 in the Powerplay, Nissanka striking 37.

The win sets up a critical clash with Pakistan on Thursday—victory there guarantees Sri Lanka a finals berth.
